Shibari, the Japanese Art
The sensual artistry of tying the body with ropes is a profound exploration.
A dance, a game, a scene, a moment in time to share connection with another person in a unique and powerful way. The ropes become a conduit to self-awareness and empowerment, a journey that delves into the depths of our polarity, energetics of feminine and masculine, surrender and control, discomfort and pleasure, past and present. This exploration illuminates the dynamics within ourselves, our relationships, and the world around us.
It's more than just learning "how to tie"
How to convey a mood, emotion, styles of touch,
with skills that take you & your partner to another dimension.
We will explore the range of sensations and provoke deep relaxation, excitement, desire, sweet release, joy, and ease. The vulnerability in ropes, brings meaning and depth to the surface. You will experience what it truly means to hold and be held.

'Anatomy, Body Awareness, & Safety for Floor Play'
Nadia is a switchy rope educator, consent advocate, and Doctor of Nursing Practice who brings a rare blend of medical expertise, lived kink experience, and heart-centered teaching to her work. One of her many strengths is translating complex clinical knowledge from her doctoral training into accessible, practical guidance for rope practitioners of all levels. Her teaching style is grounded, warm, and incredibly precise, making nuanced concepts easy to understand and apply. Nadia is based in Houston, Texas.
Nadia and her partner, Niho, performed last year at Elevation Rope Conference, where I first witnessed their style. The care, precision, intensity, and beauty in their rope was deeply moving. Their dedication to rope education and to cultivating safer, more conscious kink communities is what draws me to them so strongly.
'Thrill of Improvisation'
Tati, as I like to say, is a force of nature. With over 15 years of Shibari experience, she has trained, taught, and tied around the world, studying with renowned Japanese and European Masters. Through these lineages, she has cultivated a style that is distinctly her own: a rich fusion of Aikido, tango, tantra, domination, elemental forces of nature, and human psychology. She is one of a kind!
Tati is also the creator of Shibari Theatre, which she hosts internationally. Her theatrical work portrays a story, symbolism, vulnerability, raw emotion, culture, and meaning into provocative, immersive performances that explore the depths of the human experience. I have had the immense privilege of performing in, being tied for, and witnessing Shibari Theatre...and there is absolutely nothing like it in the world.
Tati has been one of my biggest & most beloved influences the last 5 years, as a mentor through out my rope journey. She has deeply influenced my style & perspective of rope.
'Body Manipulation'
Knotty Devil, is indeed just that. Their style is a potent blend of precise aesthetics, fine attunement, knotty predicaments, and fluid, embodied flow that heightens connection. With a background in martial arts, Knotty Devil brings a deeply informed sense of movement, structure, and presence into their rope work.
Having avidly studied with masters of Japanese and European lineages for 10 years, Knotty Devil specializes in creating rope sessions that emphasize connection, the space in between, the pauses, and the tension. Their rope is a dance. A tease. An intimate conversation in motion.
I had the special privilege of tying with, being tied by, and co-topping with Knotty Devil a bit over a year ago. Our styles complemented each other beautifully; feeling deeply familiar, inspiring, and eye brow raising.
